Samuel Dixon Family Health Center Ribbon Cutting

On August 19th we held a grand re-opening of our Canyon Country Health Center to celebrate the expansion and increase access to healthcare services to meet the growing needs of our community. Our expansion includes a redesigned layout that allows for improved triaging between our medical providers and health center staff, a larger waiting room to accommodate the increase in patient access, two additional medical exam rooms for a total of 5, and the addition of a behavioral health program to support the growing needs of mental health wellness.

We originally opened the doors to our first health center 41 years ago in Val Verde, to continue the work of Reverend Samuel Dixon, providing healthcare to Santa Clarita's most vulnerable and under-served communities. Today we have three health centers, a stand-alone behavioral health program, and two satellite locations providing healthcare, oral health, and behavioral health services to anyone in need.
